Our pastor, Father Mark Lomax, was assigned to St. Luke June, 2006. He came to St. Luke from St. Mark's Church in Chalmette, Louisiana, where he served as pastor for nine years.

An avid hunter and former Army chaplain who served in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, Father Lomax was pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Bayou Liberty nine years ago. A New Orleans native, he was ordained in 1980.

Parochial Vicar

Rev. Mr. Ronald LeBlanc
Deacon

Rev. Mr. Harold Burke
Deacon

Harold and his wife, Leah, are both natives of New Orleans. They became parishioners of St. Luke, along with their four children, in August of 1987. Leah joined the parish staff as the Youth Minister a year later and they have continued to work with the young people of St. Luke ever since. Harold was ordained a Deacon on May 11, 1996 and was assigned to St. Luke Parish. After retiring from BellSouth, Harold became Director of Liturgy in September 1998. Harold and Leah love the people of St. Luke and enjoy serving the parish.
