Mission: To help the poor and emergency-stricken with financial aid for bills of necessity including rent, utilities, food, medicine, burial costs, dental, simple home repairs, gas for work or doctor’s appointments, and paid referrals for counseling.

By appointment only for residents of Slidell, Pearl River or Alton.

Established since 1993, we are 100% volunteer driven and over 99% of donated funds go directly to serving the needy. We have distributed over
$1,250,000.00 to those who were able to verify their need, stopping evictions, utility disconnects, providing medicine and counseling services.

We are always in need of volunteers willing to help run the ministry.

We need people to:

• Talk to clients and verify their need
• Answer the phones, screen the clients and make appointments
• Assist in back-office management
• Assist in grant writing and fund raising
• Oversee operations through Board membership
• Assist with the Food Pantry
• Tutor students
• Assist with special projects – School Supplies, Thanksgiving Baskets, Project Christmas

We need donors who like to see 99% of their contributions going directly to the needy!
